Six Months Later: by Natalie Richards

I found this little gem by skimming through our library's catalog. It seemed like a book about a teen pregnancy- just judging by the name- to be honest. It actually was about a teen -Chloe- who ends up forgetting six months of her life.
This book was very fascinating, though Chloe's love life was understandable, it was rather predictable. I did think the book had an original mystery/thriller storyline, which was added a nice feel to the book. About halfway through there as just this.... impending boom.
I thought the main character was your typical teen, and her personalty stayed true to herself throughout the "six-month time period", which was very impressive.
The book had a "Scooby-Doo" feel to it. The "romance/love story" so-to-speak, provided an extra layer of mystery. I think Natalie Richards could have done much more with it though, other than you typical innocent-boy-playing-a-bad-boy-role-while-still-seeming-kinda-hot thing.
The pros were; good mystery, and decent characters. The cons were; overall predictable.
I would recommend this book for teen ex-Scooby-Doo fans and/or mystery fans. (4 stars)
